The river thaws. Boats and boardwalks reappear from under the ice. Tundra becomes saturated in The Floating Village once more. Sunset comes at 10:30 pm.
“Breakup” begins.
Ice fishing is over. Nets will soon be cast.
New Arctic Pipe construction.
Pleasant days for a walk around the island loop.
Melt-water ponds over the boardwalk.
Frozen tundra becomes impassable muck.
Late sunsets low on the horizon.
